Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the coaching I provide and to your use of this website, including the free courses. Booking a session means you accept them.

Who you are contracting with

Eloquent Executive is a sole practice run by Clarke Curran, based in London, United Kingdom. Reach me through thecontact form or on WhatsApp.

What I provide

One-to-one coaching in speech, elocution, accent softening, presentation and media training, delivered online over video. Every session is taught by me personally; work is never passed to an associate.

Coaching is a professional service, not a guaranteed outcome. I will apply reasonable skill and care, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires, but I cannot promise a specific result such as winning a pitch, a promotion or a particular assessment score.

What I do not provide

I am not a speech and language therapist and hold no clinical qualification. I do not treat speech or language disorders, including stammering, lisps, dysphonia, or any speech difficulty arising from injury, illness or a neurological condition, and I do not prepare candidates for clinical examinations. If something you raise sounds clinical, I will say so and suggest you see a qualified speech and language therapist or your GP. Nothing here is medical or psychological advice.

Booking, rescheduling and cancellation

• Sessions run 60 minutes and are booked through the scheduling link on this site.
• You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hoursbefore a session.
• Inside 24 hours, or if you do not attend, the session is treated as used. If something genuinely unavoidable comes up, tell me and I will usually be flexible.
• If I have to move a session, you get the choice of another time or a refund of that session.
• Packages are valid for 12 months from purchase.

Fees and payment

Current prices are shown on the site and are confirmed to you before you commit. Package fees are payable in advance unless we agree otherwise. I am not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer rather than a business, you normally have 14 days from booking to cancel and receive a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask me to start coaching inside that period, you can still cancel but I may charge for the sessions already delivered. Once the service is fully performed with your agreement, the right to cancel ends.

To cancel, tell me through the contact form or on WhatsApp. Refunds are made by the original payment method within 14 days.

The free courses

The courses on this site are free to read, with no account required. They are general educational material, not coaching tailored to you, and you use them at your own judgement.

You are welcome to read, use and share links to them, and to apply what they teach in your own work. You may not republish substantial parts of the text as your own, sell them, or use them as training material for a commercial course without asking me first.

Recordings and confidentiality

Sessions are usually recorded so you can hear your own progress, and I will always tell you before recording. What you say in a session stays between us. I will not quote you, name you, or use a recording in marketing without your specific written permission, which you are free to refuse or later withdraw.

Intellectual property

The text, structure and exercises on this site are mine. Materials I give you during coaching are for your own use; please do not distribute them internally as company training material without asking.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, my total liability arising from the coaching is limited to the fees you have paid me for it, and I am not liable for business losses such as lost profit, lost opportunity or lost contracts.

If something goes wrong

Tell me through the contact form or on WhatsApp. I will reply within one working day and try to sort it out directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home nation.

Changes

I may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you booked.
