Nothing in the previous nine lessons was written for your specific first language, because it couldn’t be — the fix for an Italian speaker’s stress pattern is not the fix for a Mandarin speaker’s final consonants, and a course written for everyone in general is, in practice, written for no one in particular. This lesson is where that gets corrected.
Do this now. Go back through your notes from lessons two, six, seven and eight, and write a single list: the specific sounds, stress patterns and habits that actually came up for you, not the full menu of things this course covered. Most people end up with somewhere between three and six items. Rank them by how often they actually cause a listener to ask you to repeat yourself, and work on the top of the list first.
That short list, revisited every few weeks with a fresh two-minute recording, is the actual course from here on. The nine lessons before this one were the map of possible problems. This list is the specific route through the ones that are actually yours.
